Što je Conexa
Kratak pregled Conexe, korisničkih uloga i osnovnih pojmova.
What is Conexa
Meet Conexa, the idea behind it, and find out how to connect with your building.
Conexa grew out of a simple idea: technology should bring us closer to the people living around us, not only to people and events on the other side of the world.
We want to help build local communities where neighbours cooperate, help one another, and share the information that actually matters to them. Communities where we know what is happening in our building, our street, and our neighbourhood – and where offering a hand to someone living a few doors away is nothing unusual.
That is why Conexa brings the different parts of everyday life in a building and a neighbourhood together in one place. No more ten separate WhatsApp groups, lost messages, and important notices buried under hundreds of unrelated ones.
One app for the whole community
Conexa is for everyone, and each community decides for itself which features it wants to use. Here are a few examples of what you will find:
- Official notices and the bulletin board: Your building representative posts what concerns the whole building in one place, so you will not miss it among messages from other conversations.
- Talking to your neighbours: A shared chat for your building, kept separate from everything else on your phone.
- Building documents: Minutes, decisions, and invoices somewhere you can still find them a year from now.
- Repairs and servicers: Report a fault and find a tradesperson your neighbours have already tried.
- Sharing rides: Find the neighbour who drives the same way to work or college every morning.
- Local posts: Post that your cat has run off and reach the people nearby straight away. Find out when a charity drive, a get-together, or a local event is happening – and even when your favourite shop has a Friday sale. :)
The list does not stop there, and it keeps growing. You can browse everything on the list of topics in this documentation.
Your building, your choice
No two buildings are the same, so Conexa does not arrive as a fixed package you have to take whole. Your building representative switches on only the features your community actually needs, and in your own settings you can arrange them in whatever order suits you.
We think you will grow fond of Conexa because it does not try to replace real life – it tries to make it simpler, better organised, and better connected.
The features serve different purposes, but they all point the same way: so that we get to know each other a little better again, work together more easily, and help each other more often.
Step by step, building by building, neighbourhood by neighbourhood.
How do I start?
Getting going takes two steps, and the order matters:
- Create your account. This is your personal ID inside Conexa. The guide Registration and sign-in walks you through it.
- Connect with your building. An account on its own does not place you in any building yet – that is a separate step, described in Locations and membership.
If you are wondering who is allowed to do what in a building, and how the building representative differs from everyone else, see Roles, permissions, and navigation.
The app is free to download. The first time you open it you choose your language, and then a short tour walks you through the basics – you can always come back to it via the question mark icon on the home screen.
